THE YOUNG ROYAL - SEASON 1

Season 1 of this show is so beautiful omgggg!!! Fanon (a sweet soul who isn’t as rich as the rest of the people in that school yet richer from the heart.) Simon also has a crush on the prince and they run away from the welcome party hosted for welcoming the prince by august. The  girl moment. the story starts with prince Wilhelm moving to Hillerska after an unrelated scandal. He of course was treated as royalty as he is and his new best friend becomes august (omg I hate him so much he is so evil). From day 1 prince has a crush on a town boy Simstory also shows Sara Simon’s sister and Felica August’s gf who gradually become friends as Sara takes care of Felicia’s horse. August is a total douchebag he stole money from Simon even though he considers himself rich but is broke af.

Meanwhile, Simon and prince start to get closer and closer, and trust me guys goosebumps literallyyyy!!!!!! They kiss at a movie party, then again on a football field, and you get the point again. As the story continues, they face many ups and downs (mostly downs) and in one moment we get to know prince’s elder brother died in a car accident which makes him the future king, but he isn’t ready for that part and gets depressed. Simon stays with him to console him and they do the deed. August was humiliated by the prince that very day for teasing Simon and wanted to take revenge so he secretly records them (what a pervert) and shares the video all over the globe. The video gets taken down shortly after but the damage was done, the prince (due to family pressure) denies being in the video and Simon has to face all the bullying. Meanwhile august tries to get on with SARA (SIMON’S SISTER) WHAT A BAD PERSON OMGGGGG!!!!!!
When Sara goes to confront August, they end up hooking up. I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT ENDING. I GAGGED LIKE NO BITCH HE RUINED YOUR BROTHER’S LIFE.
Let’s talk about the cast. Price Wilhelm played by ’Edvin Ryding ’ did a great job portraying a frustrated teenager with difficulty understanding his sexuality. Simon played by ‘ Omar Rudberg’ also did so well as he went through so many emotions.
Overall, I loved season 1 and find it very addictive. I would suggest you give this show a chance. I have heard rumors that season 2 is disappointing but I have my hopes up!!!
