THE GOOD GIRLS - SEASON 1

 The show “good girl “is a true rollercoaster. The show starts by showing how 3 women’s lives are screwed by their husbands or society or they are just poor. They are 3 simple mothers who are ready to do whatever it takes for their families. The 1st woman ‘BETH BOLAND’ has a cheating husband who wasted all their saving and at the verge to lose her house, 2nd woman ‘ANNIE MARKS’ favorite character also the sister of Beth is about to lose her daughter in the custody battle, 3rd woman ‘RUBY HILL’ whose daughter is suffering from some kidney disease causing them to shut.

To solve their problems they rob Annie’s workplace which was run by a gang member ‘RIO‘ a very hot gentleman I may add. Now hot Rio wants his money back so these 3 women work for him smuggling fake money from Canada and much more dirty work in return they get 10% of the profit. Now this itself is a wonderful story but it just gets better, when the 3 women went to rob the bank Annie’s douchebag boss identifies her and threatens to expose her when she pleads he asks for s-e-x in return when she refuses he tries to r-a-p-e her but sister Beth comes and save the day. They keep him hostage for a few days and then let him leave, but in my opinion, they should have just killed him. Now the story is straight women get the money to do the job and get their share. But when things get going south they decided to leave the group and rob the SAME STORE AGAIN, like seriouslyyyyy!!!!

They frame Rio and things start to get normal for all, Ruby’s daughter gets a healthy kidney donor, Annie is happy with her daughter Sadie and Beth is also happy with her lying and cheating husband( ps he lied that he has cancer to get back with Beth what a douchebag.) At end of season 1, we see the best ending Rio gets out on bail and was at Beth’s house beating the shit out of Dean (Beth’s husband) GO RIO!!!! GO RIO!!!!! And when Bet comes home he shoots Dean. 

Now let’s talk about the cast. Everyone did a wonderful job but there can be improvements Beth played by Christina Hendricks doesn’t look good playing the badass girl, her attitude is great but her face is very less expressive, Dean played by Matthew Lillard has the LEAST emotional face ever I mean you can’t tell is he sad? Or happy? Or guilty? Who knows!? and  I want to appreciate David Hornsby who played ‘boomer’ did an exceptional job I mean he really made me hate this character so much that I want to punch him every time he is on screen.

I was invested the entire time I was watching this series. I would 100% recommend this show to whoever is reading this. And that’s how season 1 ends. I won’t lie when I say I am OBSESSED WITH THIS SHOW!!!!
